About The Founder
Oluwatobi “Tobi” Gbadamosi began his French teaching journey in 2004, starting with elementary school pupils and quickly gaining recognition. He had previously graduated high school with distinction in French and later earned a higher diploma in French, also with distinction, further strengthening his expertise. Over the years, he expanded his teaching to high schools and offered specialized tutorials for French undergraduates. He is also the author of the Passepartout French textbook series (Grades 1–6).
Tobi has since trained countless students to achieve CLB 7+ and higher in TEF Canada. He himself aced TEF Canada with C1 in all modules—an achievement that enabled his immigration to Canada and gave him firsthand insight into what it takes to succeed. His verified TEF Canada C1 certificate stands as proof of his expertise and as inspiration for students aiming for the same results. His teaching is intensive yet engaging, combining personalized coaching with practical strategies that build confidence and deliver top scores.
As a passionate linguist, Tobi has also mastered Spanish, German, Italian, and Mandarin Chinese—applying the same proven strategies that make his French coaching so effective.

Tobidam is a live online language school known for fast and effective French tutoring, with a primary focus on TEF Canada preparation. Recognized as one of the fastest online language schools, students can learn French and successfully pass TEF in as little as 6 months.
The Tobidam brand began in 2004, when Tobi started teaching French and quickly gained popularity for his effective methods. In 2018, Tobidam expanded online to offer courses in French, English, Spanish, German, Italian, and Mandarin Chinese.Over time, Tobidam became increasingly popular, mainly with students learning French for TEF Canada. Afterwards, the focus gradually shifted completely to French, returning to the language that originally made it popular.
While learning French to pass the TEF Canada exam remains the primary focus, Tobidam also trains learners who want to become bilingual for career advancement, tourism, personal interest, or to pass other French exams.
